In the U-17 World Cup today, the US lost to Tajikistan 4-3. We led twice (1-0, 3-2), but lost it on a wonder goal by some kid who will go on to be a semi-successful sheep herder (kidding… good player).

We were, obviously, more skilled, athletic and funded. In the end, there’s something to be said for just ‘wanting it more.’

Kudos to the Tajiks.
